Harriet Blackford

Author

Harriet Blackford has a passion for science, how and why things work. Having worked as a technician in a school and at Birkbeck university in London, Harriet's experience, knowledge and ability to enthuse and educate make her the ideal S.T.E.M author for children and adults alike. She earned her degree in Zoology from the University of London and began her career there in the zoology department. Harriet is the author of numerous non-fiction titles for children, a business director and keen bird watcher. She has three children and two grandchildren and is married to the author and illustrator Sam Williams.
